happienss how do you defy
thought i was on the right track
thought it was gonna work and last

happened once before
happened now i want more
found what made me complete

went to soon, went to late
went to fast right out of the gate
caught it for a second
caught it, it wouldn't stick to nothing

spent to much time with out a lock
spent to much time at the dock
layed back, it swam past

i dunno when it came

i dunno why i can't get it back again
