SElf destruct

the button sits all alone
it has its friends
they keep it so


how could such a lovely button
care not if it were pushed
how could it let it self collect dust
self destruct

the button knows more
than it likes to think
it thinks and thinks
it thinks its not worth it

it toys with its self
lets see how close i can come
come to depressing it
it caresses it

Although the button is new
afraid to terminate its not
its ready to let go
it hates to sit and wait

it wants to hurry
but not to rush
its not sure it wants
what its doing but it does it anyway
it dosn't want to think
a kin to the drink, herself
she will sink.

I want so despertaly to build a case
to sheild it from its impending doom
it once thought it was a good idea
but so quickly that pendelum swung

now it touches me deep inside
in a way few things can
it drives me crazy to see her bring it on
to bring on all the uncertanty, crap
